Fender Bassman 6G6-C - Bass preset
Verified · 80/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The 6G6-C is a later revision of the early-1960s piggyback Bassman head. The Bass channel has two inputs and two 7025 stages with bass, volume and treble controls; the Normal channel has a 7025 with treble, bass and volume. A presence control sits in the feedback loop, and a 7025 long-tail inverter drives two fixed-bias 5881s from a silicon diode rectifier into two speakers. It carries the brownface-era Bassman circuit toward the blackface amps that followed.
