The '57 Deluxe reissue recreates the 5E3 tweed Deluxe: Instrument and Microphone channels with their own volumes and a shared tone control, a pair of 6V6GTs and a 5Y3GT rectifier, at about 12 watts. Like the original, it moves from clean to thick, compressed overdrive as the volume goes up.
