Fender's EC Vibro-Champ, launched in 2011 as one of three Eric Clapton signature amps, is a hand-wired tweed 1×8 combo based on the late-1950s 5F1 Champ. One 12AX7A gives two gain stages around the Volume control, and a second 12AX7A runs a bias-modulating tremolo with Speed and a footswitch jack. A single 6V6GT on a 5Y3GT rectifier gives about 5 watts, and a three-way output switch acts as a built-in attenuator.
