The Princeton 5F2 is the final and most refined tweed Princeton circuit before Fender transitioned to the brown-era designs. The single-ended 6V6 power section, 5Y3 rectifier, and minimal preamp topology are hallmarks of the entire tweed Princeton family; the 5F prefix indicates it is among the last of the tweed production run. At four watts it is primarily a practice and recording amp, producing warm, blooming clean tones and natural saturation when driven hard.
