The Fender Pro Reverb AB668 is an early transitional variant bridging the blackface and silverface eras, carrying the AB circuit designation into the cosmetically updated 1967–1968 production period. Like other AB-revision circuits, it is tonally very close to the late blackface designs while beginning the silverface cosmetic transition. The 45-watt 6L6 power section and long-tank spring reverb provide the full Pro Reverb experience. Players who find correctly specced early silverface amps often report tones indistinguishable from pure blackface examples. This is the schematic for the AB668 Pro Reverb.
