Fender Showman 6G14-A - Vibrato preset
Verified · 92/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The 6G14-A is a revision of the early-1960s blonde Showman head. Normal and Vibrato channels each have two inputs, Volume, Treble and Bass, with no middle control, and there is a Presence control in the feedback loop. Two 12AX7s run the harmonic vibrato, splitting the signal into high and low bands modulated against each other, and a 7025 long-tail phase inverter drives four fixed-bias 5881s from a silicon rectifier for very loud clean power.
