The Stage Lead is an early-1980s solid-state Fender combo with an op-amp preamp and two footswitchable channels. Channel 1 is the clean side, with Volume, Treble, Bass and Mid. Channel 2 adds a Gain control and diode clipping for overdrive, with its own Volume, Bass, Mid, Treble and a Master. Spring reverb and preamp out/power amp in jacks feed a discrete transistor power amp. It was a loud, maintenance-free stage amp of Fender's CBS years.
