The 5F4 is the late-1950s narrow-panel tweed Super, a 2×10 combo with two channels of two inputs each, their own Volume controls and shared Treble, Bass and Presence. A 12AY7 input stage and a 12AX7 gain stage feed a 12AX7 long-tail phase inverter, driving a pair of fixed-bias 6L6Gs on a 5U4G rectifier with a standby switch. It gives a punchy, midrange-rich tweed tone and a strong breakup when pushed.
