The 6G4 is the early-1960s brownface Super Amp, a 2×10 combo with Normal and Vibrato channels, each with its own volume, treble and bass, plus a shared presence control and Fender's harmonic vibrato with speed and intensity. Five 7025s run the preamp, vibrato and long-tail phase inverter, and a pair of 6L6GCs on a GZ34 rectifier with a choke-filtered supply make about 40 watts. The valve rectifier gives it a softer, warmer feel than the later 4×10 Super Reverb.
