The Fender Super Champ is a two-channel 18W combo from Fender's early 1980s lineup, featuring Lead and Normal channels with the warmer character of 6V6 output tubes. Designed to bridge the gap between the small Champ and the more powerful blackface-era combos, it offered players a compact amp with usable gain at a time when high-gain tones were in demand. The Super Champ is regarded as one of the better-sounding CBS-era Fender designs.
