The Twin 6G8-A is a revision of the brown-panel 6G8 Twin. Normal and Vibrato channels each have two inputs and their own volume, treble and bass, with a presence control in the feedback loop. Two 12AX7s run the harmonic vibrato with speed and intensity and a footpedal jack, and a 7025 long-tail inverter drives four 5881s on a silicon diode rectifier, giving the bright, high-headroom Twin clean voice that the blackface Twin Reverb later refined.
