The Vibrolux AA763 is the early blackface Vibrolux from 1963, an initial blackface-era circuit revision prior to the definitive AB763. It produces approximately 35 watts from two 6L6GC output tubes into two 10" speakers, with normal and vibrato channels featuring onboard reverb and vibrato. The AA763 revision established the Vibrolux Reverb's circuit topology with Fender's long-tailed pair phase inverter and the characteristic blackface EQ voicing. The Vibrolux Reverb became one of the most revered compact blackface amplifiers, prized for its balanced clean tone and studio-quality reverb.
