Friedman BE-100 - BE preset
Verified · 88/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The BE-100 is Dave Friedman's 100-watt EL34 head, built on the idea of a heavily hot-rodded Marshall Plexi. A clean channel with its own volume, treble and bass and a bright switch sits beside the BE channel, which cascades four 12AX7 stages with its own gain, a Fat switch, a Voice switch and a transistor SAT clipper; a third footswitch state (HBE) adds still more gain to the BE side. A JFET effects loop with return level and a 12AX7 inverter feed four EL34s.
