The Banshee is a small single-channel valve amp from Garnet of Winnipeg. Two inputs feed one half of a 12AX7, then treble, bass and volume controls and the second 12AX7 half, which also takes negative feedback from the speaker. A single cathode-biased 6V6GT runs single-ended on a two-diode silicon rectifier into 2–8 ohm speakers. It is a simple low-powered amp that breaks up easily at modest volume.
