Gibson EH-185 - Instruments preset
Verified · 88/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The EH-185 is a pre-war Gibson amplifier with separate microphone and instrument inputs, each with its own volume, and a field-coil speaker. Two 6SQ7 stages on the microphone side and a third for the instruments mix into a tone control, then a 6N7 paraphase inverter drives a cathode-biased push-pull pair of 6L6s on a 5U4 rectifier, with the speaker field coil as the filter choke. Some versions add bass and treble controls and an echo-speaker jack.
