Gibson EH-100 (early) preset
Verified · 88/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
This early EH-100 is one of Gibson's first lap steel and instrument amps, with a power transformer and a field-coil speaker. One input has a 1M volume control with the power switch on it, the other a fixed divider, and both feed the halves of a 6C8 twin triode. A 6C5 driver feeds an interstage transformer that splits the phase for a push-pull pair of type 42 pentodes, on a type 80 rectifier with the speaker field coil as a filter choke. There is no tone control or feedback.
