Gibson G-50 / G-60 / G-70 / G-80 - Effects preset

Verified · 86/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The Gibson 50, 60, 70 and 80 are early-1970s solid-state amplifiers sharing one 1971 circuit design. Two channels, Effects and Normal, each have Lo and Hi inputs into an MC1303L op-amp stage and their own volume, bass and treble controls. The Effects channel adds spring reverb with a level control and a photocell tremolo with speed and intensity, each with a footswitch jack. A transistor push-pull output stage drives a 4-ohm minimum load.

Gridleak extracts amp parameters from original circuit schematics using AI vision — component values, gain staging, tone stack topology, tube types — then generates native preset files for every supported modeler. Every extraction is scored 0–100 and the score is published.
