Gibson GA-86 Ensemble - Channel II preset
Verified · 88/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The GA-86 Ensemble is a 1960 two-channel Gibson amp, two inputs per channel, each channel on half a 12AX7 with its own volume and tone controls. A second 12AX7 adds gain and works as a split-load phase inverter, with negative feedback from the speaker, for a push-pull pair of 5881 output tubes. A 6V6 wired as a voltage regulator steadies the supply, with a GZ34 rectifier and a standby switch. The drawing shows no vibrato circuit.
