The GSS-50 is a 1966 Gibson solid-state amp rated at 50 watts into 4 ohms. Two channels each have their own volume, treble and mid controls; the Tremolo/Reverb channel adds a transistor-driven spring reverb with on/off switch and a transistor tremolo with depth and frequency, while the Normal channel has no effects. Both feed transistor drivers and a driver transformer into 2N3055 output pairs on a dual-rail diode supply, with an aux jack.
