The LP-1 and LP-2 are Gibson's solid-state Les Paul amplifier pair of around 1970, sold together as the LP-12 and built to suit the low-impedance Les Paul guitars. The LP-1 is the preamp head, with a Normal channel (bass, treble, presence) and a Special Effects channel with reverb, vibrato and tremolo. The LP-2 cabinet holds separate bass and treble power amps with Darlington outputs, driving four 12-inch speakers and two horns.
