Gibson Mercury Medalist - Tremolo preset
Verified · 90/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The Mercury Medalist is a 1960s two-channel Gibson combo, each channel with loudness, bass, midrange and treble controls. A 6EU7 phase-shift oscillator and a 6C4 lamp driver run a photocell (LDR) tremolo on channel 1, with frequency, depth and a foot pedal. A 6EU7 gain stage and a 6FQ7 long-tail inverter drive a fixed-bias push-pull pair of 6L6GC tubes, with an OA2 regulator, through a crossover into 15-inch and 10-inch speakers.
