Gibson GA-79RVT - Channel 1 preset

Verified · 84/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The GA-79RVT is Gibson's stereo reverb and tremolo combo, in a wedge-shaped cabinet with two angled 10-inch speakers. It runs as two independent 15-watt channels for stereo guitars, or about 30 watts in mono via a stereo/mono slide switch. Three 6EU7s and a 7199 handle the preamps, reverb drive and tremolo, and a 12AU7A gives each side a split-load inverter for its own pair of 6BQ5 (EL84) tubes, on a silicon-diode supply.
