The TR-1000RVT Starfire is a 1960s all-transistor Gibson combo with a single channel: two inputs, loudness, treble, mid-range and bass controls, and a separate reverb loudness control for its transformer-driven spring reverb. A transistor oscillator lights a photocell (LDR) for tremolo with frequency and depth, and reverb and tremolo each have a footswitch. A driver transformer feeds a pair of output transistors into a single 12-inch speaker.
