Gretsch 6163 - Channel 1 preset
Verified · 86/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The Gretsch G6163 is a Valco-built piggyback amp, separate preamp and power pack. Two channels, three inputs each, run on 12AX7 stages with their own volume, treble and bass controls. A 12AX7 tremolo has speed and intensity with a footswitch, and a built-in tuner tone oscillator has frequency, volume and on/off controls, plus a brilliance switch. A 12AX7 inverter feeds the power pack: a cathode-biased push-pull pair of 6L6s on a 5U4 rectifier.
