Gretsch 6155 / 6156 preset
Verified · 90/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The Gretsch G6155 and G6156 are early Gretsch amps sharing one circuit: three inputs into a 6SQ7 triode, followed by a tone control and a volume control. A 6SC7 twin triode adds gain and works as a paraphase inverter, driving a cathode-biased push-pull pair of 6V6GT tubes into a speaker whose 1000-ohm field coil doubles as the filter choke. A 5Y3GT rectifier supplies the power, and there is no negative feedback.
