Guild's Maverick Bass is a tube bass amp from a September 1970 factory drawing. A single channel with two inputs feeds a 12AX7 stage, then bass, treble and volume controls with a tone switch, followed by a 12AX7 gain stage with a second tone switch. A 7247 drives a master volume, gain stage and long-tail inverter into a cathode-biased push-pull pair of 7591A output tubes with feedback from the speaker, on a silicon-diode voltage doubler.
