The Thunderstar Bass is a single-channel Guild tube bass head drawn in 1968. Two inputs feed half of a 12AX7 with bass, treble, volume and a tone switch. A 7247 handles the driver and inverter, and two 6L6GC output tubes have individual bias controls on a diode-rectified supply. It is simpler than Guild's two-channel Thunderbass and built for clean, firm low end.
