Guild Thunderstar Lead - Tremolo-Reverb preset

Verified · 85/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The Thunderstar Lead is a Guild guitar amp built as separate preamp and power chassis, drawn in 1969. Normal and Tremolo-Reverb channels, two inputs each, have their own volume, bass and treble on 12AX7 stages. A 6GW8 drives and recovers the spring reverb, and a 12AX7 oscillator runs an optical (LDR) tremolo with speed and depth. In the power chassis a split-load inverter drives a fixed-bias push-pull pair of 7591s on silicon rectifiers.
