The Hiwatt DR203 is a three-channel, 200-watt variant of the DR201, offering an additional input channel intended to accommodate multiple instruments or microphones simultaneously. Like all Hiwatt amplifiers of the period, it was hand-wired to exceptional tolerances using high-quality components sourced for long-term reliability. The DR203 was aimed squarely at professional touring applications where both guitar and PA duties needed to be covered by a single, trustworthy amplifier. Its massive headroom and flat, transparent response made it equally useful for guitar, keys, and vocal reinforcement.
