The Hiwatt STA200 is a 200-watt slave power amplifier in Hiwatt's STA series, with no preamp or tone controls, built to add power and cabinets to a rig driven by a separate head or preamp. A level control feeds an ECC83 gain stage with feedback from the 16-ohm tap, then an ECC81 long-tailed-pair inverter drives six fixed-bias EL34s, three per side, into a Partridge TH650C output transformer from solid-state bridge supplies.
