The Crunch Master (1988) is one of Hughes & Kettner's late-1980s one-watt valve micro amps, built for recording and quiet practice. An NE5532 op-amp front end with a gain control feeds a dual-triode stage with treble, middle and bass, then a master with a bright switch and a single-ended pentode output stage for a speaker. Filtered, speaker-simulated line outputs and a tube-bypass switch let it go straight into a mixer.
