The Hughes & Kettner Access is a programmable early-1990s rack guitar preamp, run by a microprocessor with a plug-in sound module. A low-noise op-amp and FET input feeds three switchable paths: Clean and two tube paths, Tube 1 and Tube 2, each built on a twin triode. CMOS switches select the path and treble and mid boosts, and gain, master and EQ are stored in presets. It has an effects loop, a noise reducer and a balanced output.

Gridleak extracts amp parameters from original circuit schematics using AI vision — component values, gain staging, tone stack topology, tube types — then generates native preset files for every supported modeler. Every extraction is scored 0–100 and the score is published.
