The Hughes & Kettner BassForce L is a late-1990s solid-state bass combo with no tubes, for practice, rehearsal and small venues. A single input feeds an op-amp preamp with gain, bass (70 Hz), mid (400 Hz to 1 kHz) and treble (15 kHz) controls and a master, plus an effects loop, line out and stereo headphone jack. A discrete transistor power amp rated about 80 watts RMS into 4 ohms drives a single 15-inch speaker.
