The Kalamazoo Model 1 is the simplest and most basic amplifier in the Kalamazoo line, offering a single-channel tube circuit with minimal controls aimed at the beginner market. Its 5- to 8-watt output is sufficient for home practice and small ensemble use, and its uncomplicated circuit makes it an excellent platform for DIY experimentation. The Model 1 is one of the most readily available and affordable vintage American tube amps.
