Kay 830 - Channel 1 preset
Verified · 90/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The Kay 830 is a two-channel tube combo. Each channel has two inputs feeding its own half of a 6EU7 twin triode, followed by its own tone network and volume. The channels mix into a 6C4 gain stage and a second 6C4 working as a split-load phase inverter, driving a push-pull pair of 6BQ5 (EL84) tubes with a shared cathode resistor into an 8-ohm speaker, from a solid-state voltage-doubler supply. A bright EL84 voice that crunches when pushed.
