The Kay K-805 is a small solid-state practice amp from Kay's transistor era, built with germanium transistors. Four inputs, one with its own tone network, feed a transistor preamp with tone and volume, then a 2N408 stage and 2N591 driver into a driver transformer. A push-pull pair of 2N301 power transistors drives the speaker from a bridge-rectified supply. A two-transistor oscillator with depth control and footswitch jack provides tremolo.

Schematic-derived preset files for 16 Fractal and Line 6 modelers: Axe-Fx II/XL/XL+, Axe-Fx III, FM3, FM9, and the full Helix family (Floor, LT, Rack, HX Stomp, HX Stomp XL, Native).
Gridleak extracts amp parameters from original circuit schematics using AI vision — component values, gain staging, tone stack topology, tube types — then generates native preset files for every supported modeler. Every extraction is scored 0–100 and the score is published.
