The Kendrick Roughneck is a small single-ended amp from Gerald Weber's Texas company, Kendrick Amplifiers. Both halves of a 5751 drive a single cathode-biased 6L6, with a GZ34 rectifier, for about 6 watts; there are bright and mellow inputs and no tone controls. It gives a thick, raw, touch-sensitive breakup at recording-friendly volumes, and was also offered with 6V6GT or 6550 output and 5Y3GT rectifier options.
