The Kitty Hawk Custom Series preamplifier is the all-12AX7 front end of the German maker's 1980s Custom Series. A normal channel with its own volume and master runs through a treble, bass and middle stack with mid-accent and boost switches, beside an overdrive channel of cascaded stages with Overdrive Level and Master. Logic-driven relays switch channels and reverb, and a pre-out feeds the power amp.
