The Laney Cub-10 is a compact all-tube combo from Laney's Cub series, launched around 2009 for home practice and recording. Hi and Lo inputs feed an ECC83 gain stage, a Gain control, a second stage and a Volume, then a long-tailed-pair phase inverter whose single Tone control works around the negative-feedback loop. A fixed-bias pair of 6V6s drives the speaker, so it breaks up with an American-style 6V6 voice rather than EL84 chime.
