The Laney Cub12R is an all-tube 1x12 combo from Laney's Cub series, built for practice, recording and small gigs. Hi and Lo inputs feed two ECC83s: a gain stage, the Gain control, two more stages and a cathode follower driving treble, middle and bass controls and a Volume. An op-amp board adds the effects loop and a digital reverb, and an ECC83 long-tailed-pair phase inverter with relay-switched parts drives a fixed-bias pair of EL84s.
