The Laney Chrome-O-Zone is a late-1990s British all-tube amp with relay-switched Clean and Drive channels. Six ECC83s form a cascaded preamp with gain and drive controls and a bass/middle/treble stack, plus spring reverb and an effects loop, feeding an ECC83 long-tailed-pair phase inverter and four fixed-bias EL84s. It pairs a chimey clean with a hot, compressed EL84 drive sound.
