The Laney TubeFusion TF400 is the late-1990s flagship of Laney's TubeFusion hybrids, sharing its main preamp with the TF500M and TF800. A single ECC83 adds valve gain to the drive channel of an otherwise solid-state amp, with Drive and two gain modes, treble, middle and bass, Enhance, Drive Volume and Gain Master. It adds MIDI-switchable channels, an effects loop with per-channel level, and separate clean and drive reverb levels.
