The Lectrolab R300 is a small American tube combo from the catalog-sold Lectrolab line of the late 1950s and early 1960s, a step up from the transformerless R200 with a proper power transformer and 5Y3GT rectifier. Two inputs feed one triode of a 6SN7, then a Volume control into the second triode, which drives a single-ended, cathode-biased 6V6GT with a Tone control on its grid. It gives a warm clean that breaks up at higher volume.
