The Legend 50 is a 50-watt hybrid amp from Legend Music of Syracuse, New York, with a tube preamp and a transistor power amp. Two inputs feed a 12AX7 stage with a Colour Gain control, a JFET-switched Rhythm Drive and a Lead Level for footswitchable rhythm and lead sounds, then treble, bass and Preamp Volume into another 12AX7. Op-amps handle master, presence and preamp out. It is the amp behind nearly all the guitar on ZZ Top's Eliminator.
