The Magnatone 107 is a small early Magnatone instrument amplifier from Magna Electronics of Inglewood, California, often paired with lap steel guitars. It is a transformerless 117-volt AC-DC design: two inputs feed one half of a 12AX7, then a Volume control into the second half, which drives a single-ended 50L6 output valve, with a 35Z5 rectifier and series heaters. There is no tone control, and it gives a warm, soft clean at low volume.
