Magnatone Custom 415 preset
verified · 90/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The Magnatone Custom 415, from around 1962, is a simple single-channel tube combo with Volume and Tone. Two inputs feed a 6EU7 that gives two gain stages, then a 12AU7A provides a further stage and a split-load phase inverter feeding a fixed-bias push-pull pair of 6973 output tubes with negative feedback, on a 6CA4/EZ81 rectifier. This chassis has no vibrato circuit, and gives a straightforward clean with mild breakup when pushed.
