The Magnatone Custom M9 is a 1963–64 member of Magnatone's Custom Series, a two-channel combo built for a 15-inch speaker plus a small tweeter. Each channel has Loudness, Tone and a Mellow/Normal/Bright contour switch on a 7025, and a stereo jack feeds both. Magnatone's four-varistor pitch vibrato, from a 12DW7 oscillator and 12AU7, works on channel one only, and a 12AU7 inverter drives a cathode-biased pair of 7189As.
