Marantz Model 9 preset

The Marantz Model 9 is a mono tube power amplifier, the flagship of the classic Marantz tube line and still highly collectible. A 6DJ8 input stage with a switchable low-frequency filter and level control feeds a second 6DJ8 and a 6CG7 driver, running four 6CA7/EL34s in push-pull parallel with fixed bias. A built-in meter and selector switches set bias per valve, and the output transformer has several impedance taps.
