Marshall 1974X - Normal preset

Verified · 90/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

Marshall's hand-wired reissue of the 1966 18-watt 1974 combo. It has two channels, Normal and Tremolo, each with its own pair of inputs and simple Tone and Volume controls; the Tremolo channel adds Speed and Intensity and a footswitch jack. Three ECC83s cover the preamps, tremolo oscillator and phase inverter, driving two EL84s off an EZ81 valve rectifier, for the chimey, early-breakup British tone of the original.
