The Model 5506 is a 60-watt solid-state Marshall bass combo from 1982-83 with a 15-inch speaker, an affordable practice and small-gig bass amp. A 2N3819 FET input with Sensitivity and Contour controls feeds CA1458 op-amp EQ with four bands at 50 Hz, 400 Hz, 1 kHz and 10 kHz, then a diode-limited Volume, effects send/return and DI output. A discrete transistor power amp delivers 22 V into 8 ohms.
